Manuel Rocks the Schermerhorn…

Nashville’s elite will be putting on their finest Saturday night for the red carpet opening gala of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. While the most expensive gowns will be flaunted on the red carpet, I can pretty much guarantee a man’s outfit will be taking the spotlight. Laura Tuner’s son, Steve will be wearing a tuxedo that is sure to be a masterpiece.

Today I spoke with the one and only cowboy couture extraordinaire, Manuel. Only someone like Manuel could design a piece as exquisite as Steve’s tux.

Steve and Manuel began working on this outfit almost a year ago. The two developed quite a friendship as Steve took Manuel on a tour of his past. The two visited Steve’s childhood home, his school, his mother’s monument and all else dear to the Turner family.

With that knowledge Manuel created a very detailed piece of art on Steve’s full-tailed tux. Using a thousand rhinestones, Manuel created the inside of the Turner hall complete with people in attendance and a portrait of Laura Turner (like a spirit) hovering over the crowd.

Steve plans on wearing his significant glitzy piece one night only (Saturday night) and then donating it to the Symphony Center as a museum piece.

It will be a fabulous night on the red carpet! Brad and I will bring Nashville live coverage throughout the night. I can’t wait to see how dashing Brad looks in his white tie tux!
