Killer Night!

killersme.jpg Oh what a night! I scored a ticket last minute Monday night to The Killers sold out show at the Ryman. The band is one of my favorites and they lived up to everything I could imagine.

They brought four buses and six semi’s to the Ryman Auditorium, their smallest venue on the tour. All two thousand three hundred and sixty two seats sold out in three hours. I spotted country singer Dierks Bentley and his cute wife walking in the main door with tickets in hand.

Before The Killers took the stage, the lead singer Brandon Flowers was seen running on his personal treadmill in his tuxedo backstage! I guess that’s his way of getting geared up for a killer show (no pun intended)!

Once on the stage it seemed as though they played hit after hit, much off their Hot Fuss album, like Mr. Brightside, Smile Like You Mean It and Somebody Told Me. The rock band also played plenty of songs off Sam’s Town; When You Were Young, Enterlude and Exitlude was their final song. They must have been having fun the band was scheduled to wrap up at 10:30, but they rocked until eleven and that was just the beginning of their night!

Not long after their show, the band headed over to The Stage (honky tonk). I chatted with Brandon for a minute there and snapped this pic. The band hung upstairs on the balcony most of the night with a small crowd. How cool! They kicked it until about two in the morning then took a cab to their West End hotel.

The Killers are in town for the next two days, if you see them out and about let me know!

To quote them- We hope you enjoyed your stay Its good to have you with us even if its just for the day We hope you enjoyed your stay
