Hundreds of music industry insiders turned out for the Grammy Block Party Tuesday night. Folks munched on BBQ, Dippin’ Dots and many indulged on the open bar.

Little Big Town, Sarah Buxton, Jedd Hughes, The Bees and Colbie Caillat all played. The music kicked off around 4 and LBT closed out the event well after 10 O’Clock.

JT Harding was excited to pose with Cheap Trick‘s Tom Peterson. JT just received his first cut, “Like I Never Broke Her Heart”. Randy Owen of Alabama will be singing JT’s song on his upcoming solo project. Jt says it was produced by John Rich of Big & Rich.

American Idol‘s Chris Sligh also showed at the party. Chris said he was in town looking for a record deal, but not a country one. The rockers from Bang Bang Bang also mingled about and chatted with songstress Sarah Buxton.

On a side not- Universal Republic Records recently announced the signing of singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat. She will be opening for the Goo Goo Dolls this summer.
