Color me pretty~

It’s the sites and sounds that make some people cringe, but hundreds of people showed out over the weekend for the 7th Annual Nashville Full Moon Tattoo and Horror Festival. The fest featured a slew of horror film stars and over 40 tattoo artists from all across the World at the Nashville Airport Marriott Hotel. Costume contest, tattoo contests, comic & movie vendors and horror film screenings kept festival goers slammed with activities.

George Romero producer of one of the most celebrated horror films of all time- Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead was the guest of honor. Romero held a special showing of his latest work, Diary of the Dead at midnight at Belcourt Theatre. The screening sold out and long lines formed down towards Hillsboro Road by ten O’Clock.

Among those pictured- Ben & Stacey Dixon (event organizers and owners of five Lone Wolf Body Art tattoo shops), Richard Brooker of Friday the 13th- Part 3 signing autographs, Michael Berryman of The Hills Have Eyes and One Flew Over the Kuckoos Nest and Basil Gogos. Gogos is a famous monster painter of the fright-film era. He has painted over two thousand pictures and several CD covers for rock stars Rob Zombie, The Misfits and Electric Frankenstein. Watch my story below.
