Old Radio Cafe is now mad donna’s~

The East side’s latest spot has officially opened its doors, well softly anyway. Mad donna’s is having its soft opening until April 28th.

The new restaurant/bar/club took over the ole Radio Cafe, on the corner of Woodland Street and 14th. After an extensive renovation, the place has been transformed into a spot with a hint of urban flair. Famous “Donnas” decorate the wall and upstairs there is a lounge, dance floor and DJ booth.

It will be nice for those who want to shake their rumps late night. I can’t think of another place the offers the same vibe in East Nashville.

They do want to keep the place kid friendly, at least earlier in the night. There is even a menu for the little ones.

My favorite menu item is the sweet potato enchiladas. Yum!

I’m sure the patio will be great when it warms up!

Among those pictured- owners Neil Clark & Rachel Fontenot and GM Chip Grant.
