Rhinestone Cure shines at Hotel Indigo~

Morelia Cuevas celebrated her 40th birthday at Hotel Indigo, with the launch of her organization Rhinestone Cure, Inc. She turned the hotel into a Rhinestone palace, with themed rooms like the Rhinestone Saloon, Club Sparkle and my favorite- the Sweet , Sassy, Sugarland venue.

A photo booth, a numerologist, caricaturist, and the “Sparkling Popper Rocker Cocktail” were among the treats benefitting the cause.

The lovely gals of Music City Burlesque and several bands took over the hotel lobby. Miss Lolly performed a special birthday number, that started with her wrapped as a present and ended in very little clothes. Lolly put the final touch on her performance by sitting on the b-day cake. She wiped the icing off her bottom and stuck it into Morelia’s mouth.

Party-goers were entertained outside one of the rooms, on a deck over looking Nashville. Dancers and hula hoopers took advantage of the DJ until the wee hours of the morning. It was seriously one of the best party’s I have ever attended.

Morelia founded Rhinestone Cure to raise awareness of Diabetes. Rocker Bret Michaels and her father, designer Manuel are among those on the board.
