Inside the VIP opening of “Fuse” with the celebs

<

The red carpet was rolled out for the VIP opening for Gaylord Opryland Resort’s “Vegas-style nightclub,” Fuse. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, Kid Rock, Nick Carter, American Idol’s Diana Degarmo and Miss America 2004 Erica Dunlap were among those that came out for the event (more pics in the below post). Niki Taylor, Billy Ray Cyrus and Eddie George were just a few of the confirmed guests that didn’t show.

Kim rolled up to the club in a hot pink hummer, sans her man Reggie Bush, in a baby doll Dolce & Gabana top, Rag & Bone jeans and open toe shoes (pictured). She told me they were Burberry, but Brad they were Fendi. Hmmm… Conclusion- they were pricey.

Kim said she enjoyed her first trip to Nashville and that you never know the TV show may pay a visit to country music. After all, Kim likes country music- she listened to Carrie Underwood’s CD in the car.

Kim hung in her VIP cabana (of sorts), two down from Kid Rock’s, which was gushing with ladies. The TV celeb said she is also a big fan of Kid Rock. Kim even made her way down to the dance floor to take a pic of Rock spinning. She was then nice enough to pose for photos with fans.

On the red carpet, Kid Rock said he didn’t know much about the reality TV gal and was looking forward to spinning. He said DJing takes him back to where it all began.

The 14,000-square-foot club was comfortably packed. Erica Dunlap and her hubby boogied down on the dance floor (pictured). Backstreet Boy Nick Carter didn’t walk the red carpet, but did show up. He came out rather late and hung near Kim’s VIP area.

An exciting cocktail menu kept my palette wet. My favorites- “Candy” (made with a chunk of pink cotton candy) & the Blood Orange Mojito. The resort treated VIP guest’s right, comping tabs and providing fabulous rooms in the hotel.
