Music City celebrates July 4th all weekend!

Nashville is known to have one of the best firework shows in the country. Every year my group of pals gears up and hits downtown. Traffic and parking seem to always be a concern, but it’s never as bad a you think and worth every minute of it!

Festivities and family fun begin at noon on the 3rd. Julianne Hough will play a free concert that night. Fireworks will shoot into the air immediately following the concert.

The big event, Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing! on the Riverfront lawn will kick off at 2pm with Jordyn Shellhart, Calico Trail, Damien Horne and Jessie James and goes on into the evening with Jaci Velasquez, Julianne Hough and Trace Adkins. You can’t miss the amazing fireworks choreographed to the sounds of the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony playing on the banks of the Cumberland River.

I can’t think of a better way to watch the show than from a rooftop. Nashville’s premiere rooftop event space, Aerial, will open it’s doors for the celebration. Tickets include cocktails, music and a summer dessert bar. Aerial will provide one of the best views of the cities Fireworks display from a unique vantage point seldom seen by most Nashvillians.
