Boom Boom Pow: the 3th & 4th light up the sky!

The Holiday weekend proved to be full of food, fun and festivities. Riverfront kicked things off on the 3rd, with Julianne Hough playing a free concert for the floods first responders.

Meantime on the East Side, the annual Thirth Block Party was bigger than ever. The event featured music by Thee Phantom 5ive, Melissa Mathes, The Minor Keys, Heypenny and Elmo Buzz and the Eastside Bulldogs. This years $10 cover went to flood relief.

On Sunday hundreds of folks hit Party Cove in Percy Priest to celebrate the 4th. Josh Macer, Benji Walker, Lauren Clark, Erin Brown, Scott Hammrich, Adam Rector and more are among those pictured.

Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing! took over the Riverfront lawn later Sunday evening. Jaci Velasquez, Julianne Hough and Trace Adkins were among those that performed just before the skyline lit up with Nashville’s famous fireworks show choreographed to the sounds of the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony. My crew had the perfect seat on Aerial’s rooftop. A champagne toast and dessert bar were nice touches to the skyline setting. Among those pictured; Melanie Barone, Sam McGeee, Kil Kelley, Lindsey Langley, Heather Byrd, Van Robins. Jennifer Ghanem, Jason Petrin, Jason Greer, Jackie Ballinger, Summer Langston and more!

After the fireworks show, I headed to a 17th floor penthouse at The Adelicia where hundreds of partygoers had gathered for the big show. It was another ideal spot overlooking the city and quite the throwdown thanks to party throwers Mark Block, Lee Esposito (pictured) & Robert Finger (pictured).
