Hilary Williams and family at CMHOF~

Singer-songwriter, Hilary Williams paid a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame Saturday for a special program, performance and book signing. The event was a huge success as many of her friends and family came out to support, including her father Hank Williams Jr.

Hilary’s career was interrupted in 2006 by life-threatening injuries suffered in a car accident. In her thirty-one years of life, she has overcome more than 20 surgeries and is now able to walk without a cane and sing again. She chronicled her experiences in a new autobiography, Sign of Life: A Story of Family, Tragedy, Music, and Healing, which was published November 1st.

The program was presented in conjunction with the Museum’s exhibition Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy. We sat down and talked with Hilary and have footage of the presentation. Stay tuned for the video!
