Tater turns 90!

I absolutely love country music legend Little Jimmy Dickens. It was an honor to celebrate his 90th birthday with him Wednesday night, at Rippy’s Bar and Grill on lower Broadway.

The last birthday party I attended of his was at Bass Pro Shop, where I talked to the late Porter Wagoner. This year “whispering” Bill Anderson, country singer Danielle Peck and Nashville Mayor Karl Dean were among the guests in attendance.

A guitar birthday cake, plenty of delicious cupcakes, balloons and special black and white artists painting decorated the room. Guests were able to sign large cards for “Tater” to take home.

Stay tuned for our interview with the oldest living Grand Ole Opry member.
