New music venue to fill the void of a mid-sized space in Music City~

A new multi-use event space is coming to the Marathon Village neighborhood this October. The new locally owned and operated space plans to fill the void left by 328 Performance Hall and City Hall.

Venue owners Josh Billue (Exit/In), Chris Cobb (Sell Out Presents) and Telisha Arguelles Cobb (Special Events Plus) say they plan to utilize a ‘fresh approach with environmental efforts, left of center music programming, charitable community outreach and eco-chic events.’

“This new project will meet the needs of concert goers, event guests, artists, event planners and vendors alike; making it one of the only spaces in Nashville with such versatility. ” said Josh Billue via press release.

The exact number of the final capacity for the venue has yet to be released, but they assure us it will fill the void in the market for a mid-sized venue. Lightning100 hosted a “Name YOUR Venue” contest. The winning name will be announced on Lightning100 during the noon hour on 8/12/11, along with the artist announcement for the grand opening show.
