Live on the Green kicks off this week~

Week 5 by Brian Waters Live on the Green returns for its third year with another stellar line-up and extended offerings. Los Lonely Boys, Robert Randolph & The Family Band and Here Come the Mummies are just a few of the headliners at this year’s free, six-week concert series. The series kicks off this Thursday at 5 p.m. at Public Square in front of the Metro Courthouse, with a special collaboration by Nashville Symphony and K.S. Rhoads. The show will go on rain or shine, unless there are dangerous conditions.

This season will offer expanded options for attendees, including a larger food court with a variety of food trucks and mobile vendors, wine by the glass, family activities, green initiatives, community partners and activities. For a full list of this year’s line-up click

UPDATE: For the protection of their instruments, Nashville Symphony Orchestra members may not play outdoors if the temperature falls below 65 degrees Fahrenheit. In attempts to prevent a show cancellation, Live On the Green and Nashville Symphony officials have changed the performance time for “Nashville Symphony with K.S. Rhoads” from 9 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 8.
