Hank Jr. talks about closure of Hall of Fame exhibit~

I got to take a stroll through “Family Tradition: The Williams’ Family Legacy” Tuesday. Check out my story above.

Hank Williams Jr. performed a special solo acoustic show Tuesday night at the Country Music Hall of Fame to celebrate the upcoming end of his family’s exhibition featured at the museum.

“Family Tradition: The Williams’ Family Legacy” has been on display since 2008 and is the longest running exhibit ever at the legendary hall of fame.

“There is such a rich story to the family. The more you look into it, the more interesting it gets,” explained Michael McCall of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The exhibit features more than 200 artifacts from the family including designer suits, guitars and Hank Williams Jr.’s notebook.

I spoke with Hanks Williams Jr. who tells me that he hopes to leave many of the heirlooms right where they are and belong.
