Black Keys play secret Nashville show

PhotobucketWell folks they don’t call us Music City for nothing. Wednesday afternoon, Nashville rockers The Black Keys tweeted they would play a secret show for fans and to stay tuned for details. Word quickly spread and by three in the afternoon some twenty fans had lined up outside the Springwater Supper Club off of West End. The grew to hundreds as folks found out that the arena performers would be playing a small hole in the wall. Some 6 hours later, the first forty fans were let in to the small hot venue, but apparently it was well worth the wait.

The show was actually a video shoot for the El Camino cut “Little Black Submarines.” They played the song several times throughout the night and treated guests to an hour long set as well. One lucky gal scored the set list and a drumstick. Thanks to Tori Velasquez for sharing the photo.
