Stephanie Langston is an Emmy nominated TV journalist who has worked in the media industry for more than a decade holding positions as a News Anchor, Entertainment Reporter, Video Journalist and Producer for the ABC affiliates in Greenville, Mississippi and Nashville, Tennessee.
Stephanie has also been featured as a correspondent on “Live with Regis & Kelly,” produced for VH1′s “Behind the Music,” as well as CMT’s “Insider.” From Bonnaroo to the CMA Awards, Stephanie has covered nearly every star-studded event in Music City. In 2007, Stephanie received an Emmy nomination for her CMA Awards show coverage on WKRN.
Stephanie is the reigning “Best of Nashville” TV personalities in the Nashville Scene and she was recently nominated among the Best TV Anchor/Reporters in the Tennesseans “Toast of Music City.”
In 2013, Stephanie reached viral success after waking up a sleeping Titans fan on live TV. ESPN, CNN, Yahoo and hundreds of other outlets featured Stephanie’s story.
You may also recognize her from the big screen, as Stephanie played an Entertainment Reporter in the movie “Country Strong.”
While entertainment is her forte, Stephanie loves to cover stories that make an impact on the community. She has been in the field covering stories from Hurricane Katrina to the Tennessee Tornadoes and the Historic Nashville Flood.
Stephanie has spent countless hours donating time to raise awareness for a long list of community organizations. Among her volunteer efforts; she hula hooped the Music City half marathon twice to raise awareness for breast cancer, hosted a three hour live broadcast of the March of Dimes for ABC6, she has emceed Nashville’s only official Oscar party at the Belcourt theater the past two years and was a regular emcee for Fusion, one of the nation’s largest young adult cancer awareness events benefiting the Minnie Pearl Foundation.
