Charlie Daniels Band – Tribute To Bob Dylan

The legendary Charlie Daniels is paying tribute to his musical hero Bob Dylan, with the release of his first album since 2007. Charlie sat down with me for Yallwire in Nashville to talk about how Dylan helped push him as an artist, his deep lyrics and that The CDB will perform nearly 100 concerts this year in support of “Off the Grid – Doin’ It Dylan.” The album is set to be released April 1st, 20014

Oak Ridge Boys – “We Don’t Know How to Stop”

The legendary Oak Ridge Boys have been touring for four decades, but the group is just now releasing their first live country album. The boys sat down with me for Yallwire to talk about their latest career move, the secret to sticking together over the years and how they don’t plan to slow down anytime soon. The 6th annual 2014 Honors Gala event brought together host Charles (Chip) Esten, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, Sheryl Crow, Blue Sky Riders, Jake Owen and a list of others. This year’s honorees are Nashville real estate visionary Mark Bloom, music industry icons Dale Morris and Mike Dungan, entrepreneur Beth Dortch Franklin and cancer research pioneer Scott Hiebert. The T.J. Martell Foundation is the music industry’s largest foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. The Foundation has provided more than $260 million for research at top hospitals in the United States.
